The island,
at the right pace
Capri seen from the sea is a different island. The Faraglioni rise out of the water with the morning sun behind them, the Blue Grotto is something you can be near (even if the queue is long), and Marina Piccola has a lunch place that locals still go to.
This day is designed around being on the water — three swims, a long lunch in Marina Piccola or anchored in a quiet cove, and the slow ride back to Sorrento as the light goes gold. You decide how much of it is movement and how much is stopping.
The captain knows the island like a neighbour. He'll tell you which side of Capri the wind is on at noon, which cove past the Faraglioni still has space at one o'clock, and where the day-trippers won't follow you.

9:00Departure from SorrentoWe meet at Marina Piccola, brief introduction with the captain, drinks on board, and head out across the bay toward Capri.

10:00Faraglioni & the south coastSlow circuit of the Faraglioni rocks. We pass under the natural arch if the sea allows, then drop anchor in a quiet cove for the first swim.

12:00Blue Grotto neighbourhoodThe famous grotto is often crowded — we'll get close and decide on the day. Plenty of equally beautiful caves nearby for snorkelling and a calmer experience.

13:30Lunch in Marina PiccolaTwo options: anchor and have lunch on board, or step ashore at a seafront restaurant we know well. Either way, it's the right two hours of the day.

15:30Marina Grande & afternoon swimsNorth side of the island, a couple more swims in coves you can't reach by land, and time to relax on deck.

17:00Slow ride homeWe head back across the bay in the late-afternoon light. Aperitivo on board, the coast turning gold to copper. Back in Sorrento around six.

Which ports can we depart from?
We pick you up wherever you're staying on the coast — Sorrento, Positano, Nerano, Capri or Naples. Just tell us your hotel or marina and we'll arrange it.
What's included?
Your private boat with an Italian-licensed, English-speaking skipper and fuel for the planned route, drinks (water, soft drinks, prosecco), a light Italian aperitivo, towels and snorkelling gear. Lunch ashore, the Blue Grotto entrance fee and an optional private chef are on request.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the sea is unsafe we reschedule to another day or refund you — free cancellation up to 7 days before departure.
How do we book and pay?
You book directly with us — no middleman. Send your dates by WhatsApp or the form and we reply the same day with a tailored quote and the boat we'd recommend.
How many guests can come?
It depends on the boat — from intimate trips for two on a classic gozzo up to 12 guests on our larger yachts. Tell us your group size and we'll match the right boat.
How long is the day?
A full private day is around 8 hours; routes and timing are flexible and built around you. Shorter sunset cruises of 3–4 hours are also available.
